As an existing housing intensive urbanized area of İstanbul, Maltepe, is accessible both by E-5 and TEM highways and Kadikoy Subway Line which also locates next to the Aydos Forest. Mesa Gökada are the first large scale project that’s been newly regenerated in the district. The area of project site is 15 200 m² which will supply 56.000 m² overall construction size that accommodates 317 housing units in various types and sizes.
The greeneries on courtyard and gardens had been lifted above through the facades of the blocks to connect the different codes of site with the landscape. Water landscape and pool are in harmony with the total landscape design approach of Mesa Gökada project area.
The project consists of several types of housing units as villa, garden houses and apartments that distributed on the linear site in a harmony with the needs and current housing trends. The apartments on higher floors has a potency of spectacle view of the Aydos Forest and Marmara Sea through the vision of the amazing Prince Islands’, while villas and garden houses in lower codes are enjoying the garden and courtyards.
Enjoyment in design covers the facades from lower to upper floors, is accomplished by one of the main ritual of Turkish culture, “balconies” which can be seen among the contemporary designing details of the blocks.
