Landmark Hotel & Office

Tashkent, Uzbekistan

2020

62.000 m²

What's landmark: an object or building of a landscape or town that is easily seen and recognized from a distance, especially one that enables someone to establish their location.  The project site is situated in Tashkent, surrounded by Tashkent City Project. Thus, it's a need to design as a landmark which is more remarkable and competitive.  It works also as a canopy which will be an urban shell. The design is affected by urban texture, especially some traces coming from elevation differences. That's way the masses are so active and includes different storeys to stay away from block affect. Final form overlaps with the Greater Chimgan which is a mountain (3,309 m) of the Chatkal Mountain range (the Western Tian Shan) is located in the territory of the Ugam-Chatkal National Park, and it is in the Bostanlyk administrative district (Tashkent Province), Uzbekistan. Thus, a remarkbale natural asset of the city becomes a serious inspiration source. Functionally, the project consists of hotel and office blocks within 62.000 m² total construction size.
